By Maryana Akhmedova – Trend:
Georgia’s parcel shipping companies do not expect an increase in service tariffs in 2022, Giorgi Kapanadze, the director of Inex Group LTD freight delivery company, said, Trend reports via Georgian media.
“Meanwhile, the tariffs in the direction of China have increased by 60 percent during 2021. The main reason for this was the increased costs for flights from the airlines,” Kapanadze said.
“However, we do not expect another increase just yet. We have high hopes that we will maintain the existing tariffs this year," he said.
Kapanadze said the company had to make certain adjustments with regards to some destinations, in particular, the UK.
"There is an expectation that these tariffs will be reduced and go down, although again, it depends on the situation in the world, especially the prices of aviation fuel,” he said.
