Georgia’s exports of electricity from January through November 2021 amounted to 1,370 GWh, which is an increase of 436.2 percent, compared to 255.5 GWh over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
Georgian imports of electricity over the reporting period of 2021 – 2,779 GWh, which is an increase of 170.3 percent, compared to 1,028 GWh in the first 11 months of 2020.
Georgia’s total electricity production from January through November 2021 amounted to 11,452 GWh, which is an increase of 11.9 percent, compared to 10,230 GWh over the same period of 2020.

The domestic supply of electricity in Georgia over the reporting period of 2021 amounted to 12,406 GWh, which is an increase of 13.4 percent, compared to 10,938 GWh from January through September 2020.
