The volume of newly issued mortgage loans in Georgia in January 2022 significantly increased by 67 percent, compared to the previous year, Trend reports via statistical data of TBC Capital.
Meanwhile, new mortgage issuance from February 1 through February 6 totaled 11 percent, the report said.
The number of residential real estate transactions in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi, through the TBC Bank in January 2022 decreased by 32 percent, compared to the same period of 2021, the report said.
According to TBC Capital, the growth of non-cash spending through the Bank’s channels amounted to 40 percent, compared to the 2019 level. However, a noticeable drop was observed from February 1 through February 6 - 33 percent.
