Georgia’s imports of fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan in December 2021 amounted to $299,310, which is 4 times less compared to $1.2 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The same amount decreased by 41.3 percent, compared to $510,700 worth of fuel and lubricants imported from Kazakhstan in November 2021.
Georgia’s import of fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan (January through December 2021) amounted to $3.2 million, which is a decrease of 85.1 percent, compared to $21.5 million over the same period of 2020.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total imports of fuel and lubricants from January through December 2021 increased by 41.1 percent, compared to 2020 - from $919.8 million to 1.2 billion.
Georgia’s total imports from Kazakhstan in 2021 totaled $20.4 million, which is a decrease of 40.8 percent, compared to $34.5 million over 2020.
