The volume of newly issued mortgage loans in Georgia in February 2022 decreased significantly, compared to the previous year, Trend reports via statistical data of TBC Capital.
According to the report, the volume of newly issued mortgage loans in Georgia in the reporting period of 2022 the stood at 36 percent.
The number of residential real estate transactions in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi, through the TBC Bank in February 2022 increased by 19 percent, compared to the same period of 2021, the report said.
Meanwhile, the growth of non-cash spending by non-residents through the TBC Bank’s channels from February 22 through February 27, 2022 continued downwards trend and amounted to 36 percent.
