BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Some 20 million Georgian lari ($6.5 million) worth of securities with a maturity of 364-days was sold at Georgia’s Ministry of Finance Treasury Bill Auction on April 12, 2022, Trend reports via the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).

According to the NBG, four commercial banks participated in the auction. The total demand amounted to 56 million Georgian lari ($18.2 million). The minimum yield was 10.5 percent, the maximum - was 10.8 percent, and the weighted average yield was 10.7 percent.

Meanwhile, at the last auction held on April 5, 2022, 20 million Georgian lari ($6.5 million) worth of securities with a maturity of 182-days were sold. Some four commercial banks participated in the auction. The total demand amounted to 48 million Georgian lari ($15.6 million). The minimum yield was 10.9 percent, the maximum - was 11.1 percent, and the weighted average yield was 11.008 percent.
