BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. The number of visitors traveling to Georgia through Batumi Sea Port in March 2022 amounted to 575 visitors, which is an increase of 49.4 percent, compared to 385 people over the same period of 2021, Trend reports via Georgian National Tourism Administration.
However, the same figure decreased by 50.3 percent, compared to March 2020 (1,158), and by 47.3 percent, compared to the same month of 2019 (1,092).
Meanwhile, Poti Sea Port received 744 visitors in March 2022, which is an increase of 93.2 percent, compared to 385 visitors over the same period of 2021, while the same figure decreased by 28 percent, compared to March 2020 (1,033), and by 57 percent, compared to the same month of 2019 (1,732).
The number of visitors traveling to Georgia through Kulevi Sea Port in March 2022 totaled 35 people, while no visitors were registered over the same period of 2021. The same figure decreased by 70 percent, compared to March 2020 (117), and by 67 percent, compared to the same period of 2019 (106).
Meanwhile, the total number of international visitors to Georgia in March 2022 amounted to 211,484 visitors, which is an increase of 266.3 percent, compared to 57,728 over the same period of 2021.
