BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. Georgia's imports from Azerbaijan increased from January through August 2022, Trend reports referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
According to the statistical data, Azerbaijan from January through August 2022 exported to Georgia goods worth $421.7 million, which is an increase of 22.9 percent over the same period in 2021 ($343 million).
During the reporting period, Georgia's exports to Azerbaijan increased by 21.5 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year ($346.9 million) - up to $421.5 million.
Thus, the total trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan in 8 months reached $843.2 million - an increase of 22 percent over the same period in 2021 ($689.9 million).
