Russian, Georgian Foreign Minister Discuss Conflicts
Two officials have discussed issues topping agenda of bilateral ties and prospects of resolution of the conflicts on the Georgia's territory, the Russia Foreign Ministry said. No other details are reported.
The meeting took place after the Georgia leader slammed Russia in a speech at the UN General Assembly Session on September 22 for hampering resolution of secessionist conflicts in Georgia. In a response Russian President Vladimir Putin said on September 23 that Saakashvili is to emotional and reiterated Russia's readiness to act as guarantor in the peace process.
