(civil.ge) - EU is concerned by the expulsion of Georgians from Russia, Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner said in Strasbourg at the European Parliament debate on October 25, the Brussels-based EUobserver.com reported.
"We are particularly worried by the expulsion of large numbers of Georgians from Russian territory, which appears to be in direct contradiction to Russia's commitment to the European convention on human rights," Benita Ferrero-Waldner said, reports Trend.
