( Civil ) Georgia still wants the UN Security Council to discuss the August 6 missile incident, Irakli Alasania, Georgia's UN envoy, told Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at a meeting in New York on August 15.

According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, Alasania briefed the secretary general on additional information on the missile incident.
