Currency reserves of Turkish central bank increase

The Central Bank of Turkey (TCMB) increased its gold and currency reserves by $845 million last week, said the regulator’s message posted on its website.

Overalll reserves of the Turkish central bank total $120.588 billion.

During a week, the TCMB increased its currency reserves by $2.184 billion – to $103.81 billion.

Meanwhile, the central bank’s gold reserves decreased by $1.339 billion, as a result of which the total volume of gold reserves reached $16.778 billion.
