The Turkish Armed Forces have neutralized 2,085 terrorists in northern Syria since the start of the “Euphrates Shield” operation, says a message on the website of the Turkish General Staff.
Of them, 1,775 were members of the “Islamic State” (IS) terrorist group and 310 were members of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) terrorist group, said the message.
Turkey’s ally, the Free Syrian Army (FSA), has established control over 226 settlements in northern Syria since the beginning of the “Euphrates Shield” operation on Aug. 24, 2016.
