Baku. Azerbaijan. July 31. One of the Hezbollah commanders, Fuad Shukr, was killed in an Israeli bombing of some areas of Beirut, Trend reports.
This was reported by the Al-Hadath TV channel, citing a source in the Lebanese law enforcement agencies.
Some sources claim that Shukr did not die and the information about his death is disinformation.
Citing a source in the Lebanese government, CNN also reported that the Hezbollah commander survived the Israeli airstrikes.
It should be noted that the Israeli army struck the outskirts of Beirut with the aim of killing Shukr, who was allegedly responsible for the attack on the city of Majdal Shams in the Golan Hills.
Fuad Shukr is a military adviser to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and is considered his "right hand".
