Iranian and Arabian parliamentary speakers to meet to investigate events in Jerusalem

Today the Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani spoke over phone with counterparts from Lebanon, Algeria and Iraq, İSNA news agency reported.

Expressing his attitude towards Istrael's destruction of historic buildings belonging to Muslims in Jerusalem, Larijani called on Islamic countries to unite against this action of "Zionist regime". According to him, the silence of Islamic countries in connection with Israel's actions will encourage Tel Aviv for further destruction of Islamic historical buildings in Palestine. "These actions of the Zionist regime offend Muslims," Larijani said.

Yesterday, Larijani spoke over phone with Speakers of Syria's and Uganda's Parliaments on this issue.

The parties agreed to meet to investigate this matter by having any opportunity.
