Protesters took over several government buildings in Egypt's Red Sea port of Suez on Friday, broadcaster al-Arabiya reported.
The city was the scene of some of the most violent clashes at the start of nationwide protests late last month, with police using tear gas and rubber bullets to try and disperse thousands of protesters, DPA reported.
