At least four policemen were killed in an ambush set by al-Qaida militants in Yemen's southeast province of Hadramout on Friday, a provincial security official told Xinhua.
"A group of al-Qaida onboard a car shouting Allah is the Greatest stormed a police patrol, killing four policemen and injuring two others in Mukalla, the provincial capital city of Hadramout, the official told Xinhua requesting anonymity.
Another security source said the attack took place in an area called Wadi Douan, Hadramout.
