The Libyan regime of Moamer Gaddafi said Saturday it was obeying the unilateral ceasefire announced earlier in the week, even as French fighter jets destroyed military vehicles belonging to government forces, dpa reported.
"We hold ourselves fully to the ceasefire and the end of all military operations," Foreign Minister Moussa Kussa told reporters in Tripoli.
Meanwhile al Jazeera TV reported that the French fighter jet attack on a ground target on Saturday had destroyed four tanks.
