Some Iranian officials and MPs offered to close the Saudi, Bahraini embassies in Tehran.
But Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi does not agree, the Iranian Hamshahri newspaper reported.
After the anti-government rallies in Bahrain, Bahraini officials requested the member countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (CCASG) to send more forces to fight with the rally participants.
Some countries, including Saudi Arabia, have sent hundreds of servicemen to Bahrain.
Most Arab countries say Iran interferes in Bahrain's internal affairs.
Shiites are the majority in Bahrain. Iran accuses Saudi Arabia of interfering in its domestic affairs. This issue has caused tensions in diplomatic relations between Iran, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
"Closing the embassies will not change the situation," he said. "Closing the embassies will not lead to radical solving the issue."
We must preserve our diplomatic relations with these countries, he said. "If a problem occurs, it must be solved. Closing the embassies will not help to resolve the issue," he said.
