Iran's Foreign Minister
Ali Akbar Salehi who had arrived in Baghdad atop a political delegation Thursday morning arrived back home at midnight the same day, IRNA reported.
In his day-long visit of the neighboring brother country Mr. Salehi met and conferred with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Minster of Foreign Affairs
Hoshyar Zebari, Parliament Speaker Osama al-Najifi, and a number of other high ranking Iraqi political personalities.
The Iranian diplomatic delegation's talks with Iraqi politicians were mainly focused on further improvement of the already good neighborly ties, the drastic regional developments, dubbed as the Arab spring in the Middle East and North Africa. .
