Rocket attack at Baghdad's Green Zone
Six rockets were Monday fired into the fortified Green Zone in Baghdad, reported state-run Iraqiya television, DPA reported.
It added that the rockets had been launched from a neighbourhood south of the Iraqi capital. The attack caused no casualties, according to the report.
The Green Zone houses government headquarters and several foreign embassies.
Violence in Iraq had steadily dropped after Sunni-Shiite bloodshed peaked in 2006.
But bombings and attacks are now becoming a nearly daily event again, with many targeting security personnel across the country.
