One person was killed and six others were injured in renewed clashes in Lebanon's northern port city of Tripoli, a local source told Xinhua Saturday.
The clashes erupted between Tripoli's neighborhoods of Alawite Jabal Mohsen and Sunni Bab al-Tabbaneh overnight Friday, the source from the Arabic Democratic Party in Jabal Mohsen told Xinhua, adding that three rocket-propelled grenades have been launched into Jabal Mohsen, leaving one Sunni killed and six others wounded.
The gunfight calmed down in the early hours of Saturday and all the roads in the area remained open for traffic.
