Tunisian security forces stormed a house to arrest suspected terrorists on Sunday and a woman was killed in the subsequent shootout, the Interior Ministry said, DPA reported.
Five members of the alleged cell were captured alive, one of them injured, during the operation in a poverty-stricken suburb of the capital Tunis.
The ministry said authorities tracked down the group in the house after a tip-off, and one of the group opened fire as officers closed in. The woman was killed in the exchange of fire, it said.
