Egypt's interim President Adli Mansour has pledged that his government will re-establish stability in the country and called for national reconciliation, dpa reported.
"We will fight the security battle until the end," Mansour said in a televised address.
"There are those who want to drag the country into chaos ... but there will be no going back," he added.
"Justice and reconciliation are available for everyone without exception or exclusion."
