The Hysteria over the chemical weapons in Syria will work against convening international conference and this is in favor of Syrian opposition and the supporters of military solution, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during the press-conference, RIA Novosti reported.
"Information about the chemical weapons was given when Russian-American experts were preparing for the next meeting on preparations for Geneva conference. There is no doubt that this hysteria will objectively work against convening this forum. Perhaps, this is one of the objectives pursued by the authors of his news," Lavrov stated.
'The opposition apparently doesn't want to negotiate," he added.
