Russia calls on all international players not to repeat the mistakes of the past and to prevent military intervention in Syria, the head of Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov declared in the press-conference on Monday, Ria Novosti reported.
The Minister noted that no single case of military intervention from outside in a country brought to restoring security, vice versa, it became the reason of destabilization in the region.
"We calls on not to repeat the mistakes of the past, to work fair, together, as we agreed (at the G8 summit in Lough Erne)," Lavrov said.
