At least 22 people were killed Thursday in a series of bomb explosions targeting markets in the Iraqi capital, reported local media, citing police.
The bombs killed 14 and wounded 30 in a market in northern Baghdad, independent broadcaster Alsumaria TV said, dpa reported.
Eight others were killed and 16 injured when a bomb went off in a market in southern Baghdad, according to the report.
