The Syrian opposition's main political force - Syrian National Council has today reported that it does not intend to participate in the Geneva- 2 upcoming negotiations on Syrian crisis settlement with several Western countries, RIA Novosti reported with reference to Agence France Presse.
The council representatives said that Syrian National Council will leave the opposition National Coalition if it takes part in the conference, the agency reported.
"Syrian National Council, which is the largest unit in the coalition, made a firm decision not to go to Geneva," Syrian National Council president George Sabra said.
