An al-Qaeda-inspired group claims it carried out a deadly car bombing that targeted a Cairo police headquarters, dpa reported.
"The explosion was against the oppressive and unfaithful security forces," the Ansar Beit al-Maqdes, a group based in the Sinai Peninsula, says on Twitter.
