Arab World Materials 17 July 2014 13:15 (UTC +04:00)

Hezbollah has reshuffled its press officers, appointing Mohammad Afif as party leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah's new media adviser, The Daily Star reported.

A report published Thursday by pro- Hezbollah newspaper Al-Akhbar said the decision was made by the party's Shura Council.

It said Afif had held the same position in the past before taking over the management of Al-Manar TV.

Former Hezbollah media relations officer Ibrahim Musawi has been appointed Al-Manar's deputy director, the report said.

Al-Akhbar said the reshuffling would also see changes in Al-Manar's news, political and resistance-related programs, particularly after merging ground and aerial transmission.
