Police rush to eastern London following reports of massive explosion
UK's Metropolitan police said on Sunday officers rushed to the Farnham Road in the British capital following reports of an explosion in a building, Sputnik reported.
The firecrews arrived at the scene of a reported explosion. There's no information about those wounded of killed in the incident.
The police don't qualify the incident as a terrorist act so far.
A police spokesman said to the Sunday Express newspaper that "officers are unable to confirm the cause of the explosion but enquires are underway.,"
The roads have been closed and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
The forced evacuation of people in nearby buildings is underway.
