Abdullayev / The Israeli Foreign Minister decided today that the Israeli delegation will apply to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon with a complaint of the anti-Israel statements made by General Mohammad Ali Jaafari, the head of the Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps (SEPAH), NEWSRU reported.
"Ali Jaafari has called for the annihilation of Israel. We consider his statements to be anti-Semitic, anti-Israel and racist," the Israeli Foreign Ministry's letter says.
In his letter of condolence to the Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah on the death of a Hezbollah leader, Imad Mugniyah, Ali Jaafari said "In the near future we will witness the annihilation of Israel by the Hezbollah soldiers, an aggressor-country which is a cancerous tumour in the world community.
The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has on several occasions openly threatened to annihilate Israel.
