The Israeli army has kidnapped 11 Palestinians in overnight operations carried out in different parts of the West Bank, says the military.
The operations were carried out on Wednesday morning during night and dawn invasions in the West Bank cities of Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, al-Khalil and Bethlehem, Press Tv reported.
Witnesses said that during the kidnapping campaign, troops searched and ransacked the residents' homes, International Middle East Media Center reported.
Last Thursday, the Israeli troops also kidnapped 26 Palestinians in the West Bank city of Qal-qiliya.
Palestinians residing in the West Bank fall victim to Tel Aviv's overnight operations on a regular basis despite a valid security between Israel and the Palestinian National Authority.
According to the agreement the PA is in charge of security of the West Bank and Israeli service members have no authority in the region.
Palestinians say Israel has kidnapped close to 2,400 Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza since the start 2009.
More than 11,500 Palestinians -- including women and children -- imprisoned by Israel are suffering under harsh conditions in detention facilities.
