Three people were killed Thursday morning in a light plane crash in the northern Israeli city of Haifa's airport, local media reported.
Rescue services declared the three dead upon their arrival at the scene of the crash, Xinhua reported.
According to initial findings, the aircraft's engine caught fire, causing it to crash into a building.
Two people were killed in a similar incident in March, when a Cessna 172 suffered engine failure and crashed while attempting to land in a small airport in northern Israel.
