All 477 Palestinian prisoners to be exchanged Tuesday for an Israeli soldier held in the Gaza Strip had left their prisons for release points, Israel Prison Service spokeswoman Sivan Weizman said, dpa reported.
Most had arrived at the Israel-Egypt border crossing of Kerem Shalom and the Ofer military base near the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Only two convoys transporting 187 prisoners from the Ketziot prison in southern Israel to Kerem Shalom remained under way and were expected to arrive shortly, she told dpa.
