7 dead in fiery helicopter collision in Arizona

At least seven people died when two medical helicopters collided Sunday in Flagstaff, Arizona, according to aviation authorities and local police. ( dpa )

The helicopters collided in midair near Flagstaff Medical Centre, television station KPNX in Phoenix, Arizona, reported.

Flagstaff Police Sergeant Tom Boughner told the station that the crash set off a small forest fire, which was brought under control by local firefighters after scorching about four hectares.
