Palestinian killed on Gaza border
Israeli troops have killed an unarmed Palestinian who crossed into Israel from the Gaza Strip, the military says, reported BBC.
It is the first fatality along the Israel-Gaza border since a 19 June ceasefire meant to calm violence and ease the Israeli blockade of Gaza.
An Israeli army spokesman said soldiers saw the man near the Kissufim crossing so they fired warning shots.
He said the man did not stop and soldiers opened fire and killed him. He was later found to be unarmed.
