Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 September/ Trend , corr T. Jafarov/ The hotel blast in Islamabad, capital city of Pakistan, has not injured Azerbaijani citizens, Dashqin Shikarov, employee of Consul of Azerbaijan in Pakistan said to Trend .
There were no Azerbaijani citizens in Marriot hotel during a blast. The death toll of the blast includes citizens of US, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and local people, Shikarov said.
A strong blast took place in the capital city of Pakistan on 20 September. The blast could be heard from all over Islamabad.
The blast has killed almost 60 people, though earlier reports placed death toll at 40.
Ambulance came to the scene immediately. The people are leaving hotel covered with blood.
The blast was committed by a suicide-bomber, according to early report.
