CSTO Secretary General to meet with Belarus’ military-political leadership

Nikolai Bordiuzha, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization /CSTO/ will have a meeting with the Belarusian military-political leadership, BelTA learnt from the CSTO press service.

Nikolai Bordiuzha is in Minsk on a working visit. CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordiuzha will meet with State Secretary of the Belarus Security Council Yuri Zhadobin and Defence Minister General-Colonel Leonid Maltsev. The sides are expected to discuss the situation in the CSTO zone of responsibility and the course of preparation for the sessions of the CSTO charter bodies which are to be held in November - December this year.

In October, Nikolai Bordiuzha visited Armenia which chaired the organization now. In the near future the CSTO Secretary General is expected to visit the other CSTO member states.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization unites Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
