Supreme Rada to Elect Speaker
Ukraine, Kiev, 17 November / Trend , corr. Z.Novosvitskiy / The Ukrainian Supreme Rada will consider the election of speaker on 18 November, Alexander Lavrinovich, the first vice speaker, said to journalists after the meeting of fraction heads and Supreme Rada.
According to Lavrinovich, in case of a positive solution of the issue, an agenda will be designed out of several drafts, which have a social character. If a new speaker will not be elected to the Supreme Rada, a break will be announced, and no issue will be considered.
The candidature of Alexander Lavrinovich (Party of Regions), Ivan Plush (Our Ukraine-Popular Self Defence), Vladimir Litvin (Bloc of Latvina) and Adam Martinyuk (Communistic Party of Ukraine) are nominated to the position.
