CIS experts to discuss cooperation in investigation of aviation accidents

On November 27-28, the CIS Executive Committee will host a session of an expert group on development of the draft agreement on cooperation in investigation of aviation accidents, BelTA learnt in the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The draft agreement is expected to provide the common approach to investigation of the aviation accidents happened with the state aircrafts of one of the CIS member state on the territory of the other.

The investigation of the aviation accident will be carried out to determine the cause of the accident. Any judicial settlement aimed at ascertainment of guilt will be made separately.

The draft agreement provides the coordinated activity for scientific developments, design, production, purchasing and introduction of technical means and complex systems for aviation accidents investigation including the development of the joint programmes to improve the methods of aviation accidents investigation taking into consideration the interests of the armed forces of the CIS member countries and other users of the state aircrafts.
