Indian fighter jets reported in Pakistani airspace
Indian military aircraft violated Pakistani airspace on Saturday, Pakistani media reported.
Citing the Pakistani Air Force, broadcaster GEO TV reported that the Indian fighter jets flew over the Pakistani part of divided Kashmir and near Lahore. Pakistani jets intercepted the Indian aircraft and forced them to return to their side of the disputed border, dpa reported.
The report alleged that the Indian combat aircraft were armed.
Often prickly relations between India and neighbouring Pakistan, which are both nuclear powers, have worsened since last month's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, where an alleged Pakistani militant group killed more that 170 people.
