The UN Security Council on Tuesday extended a welcome to an agreement between the Sudanese government and JEM at the end of their peace talks in Doha, Xinhua reported.
Yukio Takasu, the president of the Security Council for the month of February, made the statement to reporters after council members met behind closed doors on the situation in Darfur.
