An unclear number of miners are trapped in a colliery flood in central China's Hunan Province, rescuers said Sunday.
The flood occurred at around 5 p.m. Saturday in a mine in Changning City. The mine boss has fled the scene, Xinhua reported.
The exact number of the trapped is being checked.
Rescue operation is underway.
