Seven people missing in central China quarry blast
Seven workers were buried Tuesday evening in a landslide triggered by a quarry explosion in central China's Hubei Province, local authorities said Wednesday.
The accident occurred at about 7 p.m. at the Diaoxiyan Quarry in Xingshan County, Yichang City, where seven workers were making detonators, according to the information office of Xingshan county government, Xinhua reported.
All the seven were buried in the landslide. They were still missing early Wednesday, according to the office.
Investigation into the accident is underway.
