DPRK to launch satellite soon: KCNA
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will launch its satellite soon, warning the safe navigation of airliners and ships, the official KCNA news said on Saturday.
The preparations for launching the communication satellite have been completed, the KCNA cited the Korean Committee of Space Technology as saying.
The DPRK has declared it will launch a communication satellite sometime between April 4 to April 8. But the United States, Japan and South Korea accused it of being a cover for a test-launch of a long-rang missile that could hit U.S. territory, Xinhua reported.
