Hamas: Netanyahu's speech racist, radical

Islamic Hamas movement on Sunday said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech was "racist and radical."
"This speech shows Netanyahu's racist and radical government and its platform, which aims at eliminating all Palestinian people 's rights," said Fawzi Barhoum, a Hamas spokesman, in an interview with Xinhua.
At 1700 GMT, Netanyahu started to deliver a speech at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, in which he accepted a demilitarized Palestinian statehood only when the Palestinians recognize Israel as the national homeland of Jews.
"This speech holds removal goals against the Palestinian people, their rights and their principles. It wants the Palestinians to be a tool to protect the Zionist occupation," Barhoum added.
Netanyahu also said Israel will not completely halt Jewish settlement in the West Bank and the Palestinian refugees can not return back to their homelands in Israel.
Hamas said such a speech "should be a motivation to end all forms of neutralization between Israel and Arab countries."
