Austria reports over 110 A/H1N1 cases

Austria has registered 117 confirmed A/H1N1cases after 20 new ones were reported since Friday, the health ministry said Monday, Xinhua reported.

Most patients were holidaymakers returning from Spain, while others were back from the United States, Britain, Thailand and some other countries, the ministry said, adding most patients are under 40.

The symptoms of the newly discovered patients are very light, and many even do not have fever, it said.

The first A/H1N1 case in Austria was confirmed on April 29.

In European Union countries, there have been over 20,000 confirmed A/H1N1 cases, with Britain having over 11,000, statistics show.
