Robinho, Kaka to miss World Cup qualifier against Chile
Brazilian soccer stars Robinho and Kaka will miss their national team's upcoming World Cup qualifier against Chile on Wednesday, Xinhua reported.
Robinho suffered a muscle injury in Brazil's 3-1 win over Argentina on Saturday and Kaka had accumulated three yellow cards during the qualifying tour.
Besides Kaka, Lucio, Luis Fabiano and Ramires will also be unable to play due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
The Brazilian Confederation of Soccer is looking into their available replacements to fill the shoes of the team's leading scorer, Luis Fabiano and fellow striker, Robinho.
The Brazilian national soccer team returned from Argentina on Sunday and went directly to the site of their next match against Chile.
Brazil guaranteed their participation in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa after beating Argentina.
