Yemeni tribes have kidnapped a Russian doctor in the northeast of the country, an official told Reuters on Friday.
Tribes in the northeastern province of Marib kidnapped the doctor on Thursday while he was travelling to the capital, Sanaa, the official said.
The doctor works in a hospital in Shabwah, a neighbouring province to Marib.
